Nope. My finger tips are still shredded from visiting the new climbing gym Friday, was wanting to climb again today but not sure my tips can handle it.

Didn't wrap them? Or chalk?

Brand new gym, as in the day the gym opened and brand new holds, the hold texture is like 160-grit sandpaper and just tore up my fingers, my climbing partner and I both had our fingers pretty wrecked on the holds. Chalk really doesn't have anything to do with the tips shredding, it's more for moisture absorption and I chalk up a lot while my partner doesn't as much, yet we both got pretty wrecked. Also I personally can't tape my finger tips, I rely on tactile feedback on holds and taping takes a lot of that away.

I've been climbing at the older sister gym in the area without this problem, the holds are more worn in and aren't as abrasive. Hopefully tomorrow we'll be back at the older gym climbing, it's closer for both of us and is a lot of fun.

That seems pretty cool, nothing like that around me. My old gym had a rope I used to climb but that's about it. I like things like that, really makes working out more interesting instead of constant weight training which is what I'm used to.

I only recently started hitting the bag in place of running. It's good cardio and works some good muscles. I hate running.
